Hi, and a big thanks for porting blueprint over to Wordpress.
I had just laid out a new site design using the blueprint grid, and
was thinking about the fastest way to get it up and running, and along
came your theme. Timely! Oh yes!
That site design is still a work in progress, but soon to be live. I
managed to retrofit it into the narrower grid of the WP-theme.

However, I have another site design that is built on the original
blueprint grid of 24 cols, 950px, and wondered if anyone here, or
Joshua himself, can provide any pointers on the best way to get the
grid back to the default column number and dimensions in the WP-theme
version of blueprint?

Thanks for any ideas, or even the rationale for a narrower layout.
Cheers

Neil.

Neil,

The theme uses the older version of blueprint which uses fewer columns. I
was planning on updating the theme when the 1.0 version of blueprint came
out, but development seems stagnant right now. Not sure what's going on
there.

So you'd have to upgrade the theme to use the new blueprint, which shouldn't
be too hard, but I haven't tried it yet.

Hi Josh,
Thanks for the quick reply. Doh, I knew there must be some rationale
there... I get it now!
Did you pretty much drop blueprint in, and use the additional css
files to override specifics? Or did you have to make any changes to
the core blueprint files?
I ask as I am going to try and migrate the theme over to the latest
version.
As to what is going on with blueprint, it is quiet, but I noticed that
one of the team have cut "boilerplate css", possibly a "son of
blueprint", seems more in-line with the semantic web way of doing
things, but I have not looked too deeply at it, as it seems very early
days.

Cheers

Neil.

I didn't change any of the core files. I just created an override stylesheet
for the custom changes.
