Arlington County To Use Locations in Bluemont to Deposit Cleared Snow

As part of our snow operations to restore the community to normalcy as soon as possible, Arlington County, likely augmented by their contractor forces, will be hauling snow to several locations  in the Bluemont Civic Association:

• Arlington Traditional School (parking lot)
• Fairfax Drive between George Mason and Edison Street
• Bluemont Park Parking lot at Manchester and North 4th Street

As early as Saturday midday, residents in this area may hear trucks coming and going as they drop off snow, as well as front-end loader backup alarms. The snow melter is expected to come melt the snow in this location next week.

We know the work will be noisy and disruptive, and we appreciate your patience as we use these spaces to help us quickly clear the roads of snow from this massive storm in Arlington.
