I'm not an expert either but I had to do it through my host; not my program. Look at the info on your hosting account.

Hey people, I just started doing web development and I am by no means a professional. I really like BlueGriffon at the outset and am considering paying for some of the add ons. I've never actually paid for an add on before so it's a big step, but I'm just so impressed with the software I am going to do it. My question was is there a way to link MySQL databses to PHP? What is the best approach to take to create a database driven website in BlueGriffon? Thanks so much, and please forgive me if this isn't where it should be or something, I've never used google groups at all.

BlueGriffon really isn't set up to do anything PHP or MYSQL related. It is solely for the graphical side of web development. In fact, if you edit the source and add any PHP related code, it will either remove it, or comment it out. I personally use PHPMyAdmin for creating/editing databases, and a text editor with code highlighting and colour coding for the PHP side of things. Between Bluegriffon and Kate (Linux text editor), I have all bases covered.
