Cannot save files - bitdefender issue (solved)

Hi

Worth mentioning in case other are stuck

I've recent upgraded to 3.01 but was told cannot save files to hard drive 

"You don't have permission to save to this location
Contact your system administrator for permission

Try saving to my documents instead ?"

That didn't work (was trying to save to folder there anyway)

wasted ages reinstalling as admin and fiddling with permissions all to no avail. Turns out bitdefender which I'd instlled was blocking the app. A quick change on application access menu on bitdefender to allow bluegriffon  now means it works fine.
