You may have to delete your profile and reinstall your add-ons.

See http://bluegriffon.org/pages/Download for your profile's location.

Hi.  I have a Mac and the directions on that bluegriffon.org/pages/Download page say to go to ~/Library/Application Support/BlueGriffon and delete it.  I went to that location but there was no such file.  Any idea how to delete that profile?

Thanks,

- Stew

I am getting the same error:

XML Parsing Error: undefined entity Location: chrome://bluegriffon/content/xul/bluegriffon.xul Line Number 63, Column 1:<window ^

Not sure how to delete my profile.  I'm running OS X (7.5).

I tried deleting the application outright and installing fresh, but that did not fix the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I'm using Mac OS 10.7.5 also and I couldn't find anything related to Bluegriffin in Library/Application Support. I reinstalled Bluegriffin 1.7

I got the same thing, then I applied the corrective that's shown with the "Warning" notice at the bottom of the Download page and now everything is OK.

Instructions are on the download page on how to delete your profile but here they are copied from that page highlighted in red is how to do it on a mac.

"Warning: you may have to delete your BlueGriffon profile if you installed a preview version or Release Candidate of this v1.7.1 or if you have trouble changing the language of the interface or if you hit an XML error at launch. You will have to re-install your add-ons after that."

  • on Mac OS X: delete ~/Library/Application\ Support/BlueGriffon
  • on Windows XP: delete c:\Documents and Settings\yourlogin\Application Data\Disruptive Innovations SARL
  • on Windows 7: delete c:\Users\yourlogin\AppData\Roaming\Disruptive Innovations SARL
  • on Linux: delete ~/.disruptive\ innovations\ sarl

Thanks for the responses.  The issue for me isn't finding the instructions to fix the problem, it's that when I look in the folder ~/Library/Application\ Support, there is nothing that says BlueGriffon.  Thus I'm not able to perform the suggested fix.

I'm using OS 10.8.4

Thanks,

- Stew
