I have run into a problem with 1.2:

I have a web site which includes a weather forecast for my area. When
I reach the end of the week I copy the week's forecasts to another
page called Last week's Forecast so it remains for reference purposes.
This has always worked well using copy and paste.

However, when I try copy and past in 1.2, the formatting of the table
is wrecked. I get a table where, instead of going down the page, it
goes across and no longer makes sense.

For today I saved the current page to the Last Week's file and then
deleted the unwanted content. It worked but is a lot of messing around
compared to what I had before. Has anyone any ideas on why the change,
please. More importantly, how can I achieve what I want in a simpler
and more reliable way?

The weather page is here:- http://www.hneil.plus.com/weather.html
and last week's weather is here (note, this is what appears from last
week. The new page will appear tomorrow):- http://www.hneil.plus.com/lastweek.html

I saved your weather.html and your lastweek.html and opened both in
BlueGriffon 1.2.
I selected the weather table from weather.html and copied it. I
selected the weather table from lastweek.html and pasted.
It looks right to me. I can't see any problem.
Have you tried to reproduce the issue you describe? Is it
reproducable?

Hi Charles. Thank you for replying. That is a puzzle.

I tried copying the main table into Kompozer but it did the same thing
there. I am now at a loss as to the cause. It certainly worked
correctly the last time I copied it (last Friday) and failed today,
using the same method I always have.

May I please ask how you selected and copied the table? Just in case
you are using a different method to me (I highlight the whole table,
right click and left click on copy).

I selected the table in wysiwyg mode by clicking anywhere in the table
then, on the structure bar, clicked the <table> marker. That should
highlight all the content of the table. Then you can be quite sure
that all of the table and nothing else is selected.
If you try scribing across the table in wysiwyg it is difficult to be
precise in what you select. This may well be the source of your
problem.

Yes, that seems to have worked, Charles.

Thank you very much for solving it for me.
