I'm a newbie and using the 1.5.2 build under Windows and trying to
make an invisible table.

I've set the border to '0' .. <table height="409" border="0"
cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="734"> but I still get the table
outlines showing up on the finished page...

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

David

They show up in BlueGriffon or in your browser?
If that's the former, that's normal ; BlueGriffon adds an outline
to borderless tables to make them visible/editable. But they should
not appear in your browser.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, I understand them showing up in BG - v useful to see where they
are.. but yes, they also show in IE9 & FF 12..which I didn't expect.

Have a look at http://www.msinstruments.net/ for the 'real thing'..

many thanks

Well... One of the stylesheets inside your document has

th,td{border:1px solid #000;padding:.5em;}

So that's pretty normal to see a 1px black border around each cell...

Ah - many thanks - as I said, I'm new to this and didn't realize the
(default?) CSS would override the raw HTML table commands.

I much appreciate your help.
