Hazel, congrats on the new baby!
I won't be able to make the outing either but thought I would chime in to second the sleeping baby productions ring sling recommendation. I LOVE mine, so comfy, great shoulder design, great price. If I could only have one carrier, this would be it, we use it all the time. Also, if you follow her facebook page, she will often post discount codes and specials.
Hope that Harper and I can make it to an outing soon,
