Bluetooth LE

Hi All,

I can not find any documentation on BlueCove and Bluetooth LE/4.0. Does it support it and if not do you know of any java bluetooth library that does?

Hi Daniel,

did you find anything out on the Bluetooth LE support? I'm very interested in that and would be happy to collaborate. Are you still on the BlueCove path or did you find another solution in the meantime?

my understanding is that bluecove does not support BLE. bluecove supports the serial protocol so any profiles using that can be used with bluecove.

Bluecove would have to implement ATT protocol so it could communicate with BLE devices. Serial communication does not work with ATT. ATT is a smaller protocol.

This dates back a bit, but it's 9/2015 and I'm wondering if Bluetooth LE has been implemented yet. I'm developing code in Eclipse on a Raspberry Pi (good deal of effort to get the Bluecove stuff compiled and functional on this platform) only to find out that it 'appears' BLE is not supported. Can somebody confirm?
