I used to have the same problems. After searching for solutions, I found
that someone
recommended to recompile the source codes. This was very difficult. I found
that this
was more easy and worked well (for me). Just do this:
udo ln -s /usr/lib/libbluetooth.so /usr/lib/libbluetooth.so.2
This is done in order to make a symbolic link so Bluecove works with bluez
