Change device major class code

Hi All,

I'm experimenting with bluecove, and trying to emulate a handsfree
device on a win7 system. Does anyone know how to change the COD to
Phone as opposed to "Computer/Laptop"? Is this possible on windows? I
am interfacing with a hardware handsfree audio gateway, and it seems
like it is filtering out device classes that are not compliant. It
doesn't look like it responds to and sdp requests from non-handsfree
device classes... So, I am trying to make it connect to my RFCOMM
server for handsfree profile when it does its sdp discovery.

Eventually, I would like to move the experiment on to an android
phone. Is emulating device classes there possible? I'm assuming root
permissions is probably required....
