Any tips on reconnecting the torsion springs on the hatch of a wagon.  Took it apart prematurely, thinking that the mechanism would stay together as a whole. 1nbar popped off with it's hood down bolt/braket qnd I don't see any other methods to reattach it other than muscling it into place. Is there a better way?  I have pry bar so muscling it is still an option, but would be nice if there was a method that just makes it work.

I've taken those springs out once. Never again.
I don't remember the exact shape and size, but I welded up a custom pry bar to do it. Just using a big crow bar was too scary.

There is no simple way that I could figure.

Thanks. I started designing a tool and ended up finding a coilover wrench (hooked crescent shaped thing) that gave me the angles I needed.  Helped that the side windows are all removed.

Cheers!
