Power +12VDC arrives from the BLUE/red
wire. The BLUE wire is the slow speed grounding wire. BLUE/white
wire is high speed, which also gets grounded to complete the
circuit and enable the motor. The
BLUE/yellow wire enables the park action by latching to ground.
Observe on the diagram the small relay drawn in the wiper motor.
BTW, there was
no 'factory' delay unit for the 510, but any generic aftermarket
unit would work by 'intercepting' the BLUE wire.

Errata: I wrote 'small relay' when it
should have been 'switch'. This is the wiper transmission
internal park-switch which opens circuit to ground and stops
power when parked. Here is wiper circuit 'extract' from one of
my diagrams that should help reveal the workings...
