Dear Blueberry Hill and Stratton Park (Fernwood) Ultimate Players -

Now that we have regularly scheduled games (and permits) at Blueberry Hill for the next ten weeks, I just want to do a quick shout out to Dan Laufer, Marc Sorini and Dan Nunes for chasing down fields for impromptu games for the last few months.  It's been a chore and we appreciate it.  BTW, Marc Sorini even agreed to a 50% pay cut last week. 😎 

I also want to thank Dan L. for getting our field permits and fronting the permit fees for such (so please be sure to check in with him to see if we need more cash to make him whole).  For some of you younger players this is what cash looks like.

As a reminder, for the foreseeable future, we now have weekend games on both Saturday and Sunday mornings at Blueberry Hill Park at 9:00am and every Wednesday evening at 5:30pm, also at Blueberry Hill.  Of course, if severe weather is projected, you should check your email for cancellation notices.

Again, thank you Marc and the Dans (and anyone else I might have missed).

This collective group has been such a blessing during a hard time for all of us.  Everyone deserves congratulations for helping the group stay safe for the past year while enjoying the game we love and forging or strengthening friendships on and off the field.  We continue to welcome newcomers to the group, continue our traditions of sharing the disc with all players, and continue to spread knowledge about playing this great sport.  The spirit of the game is alive and well each week at Blueberry Hill and Stratton parks.

Hey Blueberry and Fernwood,

I meant to send a big thank you for those that contributed to the permits but got busy with work this week, so THANK YOU!.  We have the permits starting tomorrow for the next ten weeks, Bill already highlighted the schedule.

As a reminder, we are still a mask mandatory game until Wednesday, May 25. The survey that both Blueberry and Fernwood players participated in supports the continuation of mask wearing. But we are almost there folks!!!!

Also want to echo Marc's kind words to everyone. I started playing here in 2016 and it's awesome the number of new friends I've made in that time. The spirit of the game is alive and well!

One correction: the Wednesday, May 25 applies to Blueberry only... Fernwood could be separate and Dan Nunes/Rose etc will make that decision.
