CPROX with AED class coming up

Blue Wave Scuba is holding a CPROX with AED class on Saturday April 4th.

 

This class includes full standard CPR training.

 

Also included are oxygen administration (including use of the Manually Triggered Ventilator (MTV) valve), and use of an Automatic Electronic Defibrilator (AED.)  As oxygen administration is a key first aid step in many scuba accident situations, it is an important adjunct to CPR training for scuba diving.  AED's are becoming more and more commonly available in public places such as schools, and are very simple to use, so it's a no-brainer to learn how to deploy one.

 

The CPROX w/ AED class includes certification as required for achieving Rescue Diver, as well as a CPR card.
