Hello all,

Volunteers-In- Parks (VIPs) play a crucial role in the continued preservation of Shenandoah National Park.  VIPs are often the visitor's first front line contact, but they also support the park in countless other large and small scale behind-the-scenes projects.  As such, the staff at Shenandoah National Park wants to thank this valuable part of our team by formally recognizing them on Thursday September 26, 2013 at 5:30 pm.  The event will be held in the park’s headquarters picnic area in Luray.  To RSVP, contact me directly at 540-999-3500 ext 3181or leslie_...@nps.gov.

VIP Supervisors – Please make sure that all your VIPs are aware of this upcoming event and forward the attached appreciation event flyer.  An electronic invitation, along with the flyer, has gone out to all the VIPs that signed up during FY13 but I do not want to overlook other long term VIPs.
