This month we'll be working high on the AT to avoid the worst of the summer heat. The project will be a water bar and check dam rehab between Thornton Gap and Hazletop Mt. This is a steep section of trail in need of drainage improvements. I will have Pinnacles Research Station open on Friday evening for anyone arriving early. Saturday dinner will be meat on the grill, or your choice of vegetables. If you bring it, we will cook and eat it…….
