Whatever has happened, has happened.. We cannot do anything to bring it back... How about using some open source forum software like phpBB? It supports MySQL and is quite easy to setup and maintain... What say ppl???

I think the MySQL server has not been started on CSIS server.. because
when i had installed the forum along with Sri Datta we were not given
sufficient previleges to start mysql server in the startup, may be the
csis server has restarted serveral times in the mean time and database
server is not up.. so i request the concerned person to check that
out.
