Hi Raghu,
I was a students at BITS, Pilani. There I came across BLUC and had an interaction with you guys. That was the first time I have started using Linux OS. Now I feel That is good thing I have done which is helping me lot now. Thanks to you all.
I am facing some problem, which I am unable to solve even after lot of googling.
I have a CentOS, version 2.16.0.
I don't have root access to this system.
I just want to see when I have logged in to the system.
For e.g If I use rsync to copy some file from another remote system, then It is not shown by "last" command.
So if I accessed the system by rsync or used "SSH secure file transfer" software from some remote machine, then how can see when in past I have done that.
Definitely "last" command is not showing the result.
To be more specific I want to see the remote machine IP address and the time when the remote system has accessed the this system by the use of rsync or any other file copying software like "SSH secure file transfer" for windows.
Thanks for all the help you have rendered me in the past. And also thanks for sparing your valuable time for me.
Regards
Peeyush
