Greetings, Bangalore!
I am writing on behalf of my good friend,
Anders Sandell,
who has embarked on an entrepreneurial venture from
Bangalore. He is a designer, entrepreneur, and faculty member of Srishti
School of Design in Bangalore. He is one of the brains behind the
Khoya app and after its recent commercial success on the App Store, he is trying his luck with another iPad app!
His new app is an interactive storybook for children that helps them
become conscious of environmental issues, while keeping them engaged
with entertaining graphics and comics featuring aliens and
extra-terrestrials. The amazing thing is that all the design and
development is happening in Bangalore, and as a member of the Bangalore
tech community, I am really hoping that this is yet another
international success for Bangalore based entrepreneurs.
His
Kickstarter campaign
is going on right now, so he is looking for any contributions or media
coverage that may help
him reach his initial funding goal of $25,000 in the next few days! Any
tweets or links back to the campaign would incredibly helpful. I
personally have nothing to gain besides the pleasure of seeing a friend
realize his dream of making this app.
Please feel free to connect
with Anders if you are interested in contributing in any other way to
this wonderful app - he is marked in CC.
Many thanks!
