This song was the title track of their first EP, which was being released and promoted while they toured with Imagine Dragons. The title is a reference to the large amount of songs written about love and drugs, and how they are really both about the same thing.

"Love Songs Drug Songs" by X Ambassadors seems to narrate a dysfunctional relationship that is built on destructive habits and toxic behavior patterns that the singer is aware of. The song's lyrics suggest that the relationship is based on a mix of love songs and drug songs, which is a metaphor for the highs and lows that define the relationship.

In the first verse, the singer warns their partner not to mess with them, or they will throw them under the bus. The chorus suggests that the singer has been fixing their partner repeatedly but has had enough of it and will not do it again. The second verse describes the partner asking for trouble, and the use of love songs and drug songs continues to fuel the relationship.

X Ambassadors (also stylized as XA) is an American alternative rock band from Ithaca, New York, found in 2009 as Ambassadors. The band consists of vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Sam Harris, keyboardist Casey Harris and drummer Adam Levin. The original line-up also included guitarist and bassist Noah Feldshuh, who went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016 to deal with personal issues. They're probably most known for songs such as "Unconsolable", "Jungle" and "Renegades".

Aside from work with his band, singer Sam Harris also worked with Lizzo on her recent album Cuz I Love You. He also co-wrote some songs on the For The Throne (Music inspired by Game of Thrones) compilation album, an album which also includes Pray (the latter one not being co-written by Harris).

Live, the alternative rock group incorporated some southern charm elements (think Black Keys-style) into its set. Harris also pulled a Freddie Mercury, whipping out his falsetto and riffing all over multiple songs.

So with that in mind, I decided to take on the very vital, relevant, and historically priceless task of tracking down a bunch of songs specifically written about the affect of pony party powder on us people. If this list doesn't make it onto the Voyager Spacecraft's Golden Record for future civilizations to reflect on the many facets of humanity, then I'll be understandably disappointed.

Hey! My name is Teresa, and I am a junior at Mountain View High School. I was born missing both my arms, and I have learned to do everything with my feet. I am currently an active participant in my high school varsity dance team and I am an appointed member in my leadership program. I love to serve my community to create an enriched atmosphere. In the future I would like to attend the University of Washington or the University of Portland. Throughout my entire life, I have always had a passion for kids, specifically teens and adolescents. I would like to major in psychology. My end goal is to work with teens and adolescents with drug and alcohol addictions.

The first playlist, the book is very similar to a book, with an epilogue and prologue, but Yoasobi, the group, made the rest of the songs based on online stories on "Monogatary", and it's really interesting and has a deep meaning. (Well, all songs do)
