# Announcing Btune 1.1.0

## What is new?

This is a minor release where added some performance optimizations when creating many arrays instead of one array with many chunks (see README.md and `examples/reuse_models.py`). Furthermore, the `splitmode` is now part of the inference so no tweaking should be needed.

## What is it?

Btune is a dynamic plugin for Blosc2 that assists in finding the optimal combination of compression parameters. It works by training a neural network on your most representative datasets.
