On Sunday, we'll be traveling to YellowWood State Forest (about 30 minutes east of Bloomington) to go hiking and geocaching at 1pm with the Trail Mix event. So we're having a geocaching breakfast at the Village Deli from 11am-12:15pm to meet, eat and create a carpool to YellowWood. At 12:15, cars will start leaving for YellowWood. (If you don't want breakfast, just be there by 12:15pm and you can grab a ride. I can give you my number if that would help.) We anticipate a 5-6 mile hike and a few hours because there are about 3 dozen geocaches around the lake for us to find! Bring water and maybe some snacks for along the trail. Dressing in layers and with good shoes will be important as well.
RSVP to the breakfast and let us know if you need a ride or can provide a ride. (If you don't do Facebook, let me know, and I can leave a comment on your behalf.)
If you want to meet at YellowWood at 1pm, more information is available at
So far about 4 dozen geocachers have RSVPed.
You will NOT need a GPS unit as there will be at least 4 dozen other geocachers at the YellowWood event and PLENTY of GPS units.
Hope to see you there!

Hey Folks,
Next weekend is the Trailmix at Yellowwood. We are going to camp out
Saturday night. Our camp fire will be open for roasting s'mores,
pudgie pies, and hot chocolate. Just bring a chair and e-mail us.
