We're going to have our scheduled meeting on Tuesday December 8th but
our format will be changed a little. This is the last meeting for
2009 and I wanted to throw a couple ideas out there.

First idea is to do the meeting at a restaurant, have some drinks and
talk about technology and the group's direction. We had one of these
this summer and had a decent turnout.

The second option (the one I like better) is to meet at Microsoft, and
have a round table discussion about ramping up the User Group for 2010
as well as do some planning for a .NET Code Camp in 2010.

So no speaker (intentionally) tomorrow so we can have a round table
discussion about the group and plans for the future. Just depends on
where people want to meet.

Thoughts and ideas?

I like the second idea.

I like the idea of meeting at MS as well. Probably get more done there.

We're all set for our end of year meeting tonight. Again as a
reminder our format will be a little different just because it's the
end of the year.

It will be a round table discussion centered around planning for 2010
and the code camp Microsoft is going to fund for Central Illinois.

Here are other things I have on the topics list:

1. Website design. What ideas do we have to improve the website.
2. Possible oportunity to do a non-profit (free) gig for a local
firm. Maybe a .NET website?
3. How do we increase membership in the group.
4. Possibly having more members being involved in helping run the
group.
5. Requests for speakers for 2010 and topic ideas.
6. Anything else you want to bring to the table.

We don't have a sponsor for the meeting so if there's one on this list
we would gladly take some help. If not, I'll get food and drinks for
the group.

Can you please let us know if you're going to be at the meeting for
planning purposes.

Thanks again for your support.
