SugarCRM needs good PHP developers. This is a great company to work
for and is growing very fast. The company is out of Cupertino, CA,
with offices in Raleigh, NC and Minsk, but hires people to work
remotely with minor travel requirements.

Responsibilities

- Development the core application framework and modules for the
SugarCRM application

- Produce high-quality, scalable, secure, performance and functionally
tested software at lightning speed

- Push the envelope of software design and architecture

- Challenge, mentor and learn from your peers

- Continually sharpen your own skills

Qualifications
- Experience writing highly-scalable web-based applications

- Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming, algorithms and
best coding practices, preferably in PHP

- Be uncompromising when it comes to quality of your software

- Enjoy working with really smart engineers, and able to establish and
defend your designs and ultimately identify the optimal solution

- You should be meticulous about your research and use of the best
technology to solve your problem

- Driving your own projects from conception to implementation by
yourself, or with a team of peers, sounds like fun to you

- You thrive in a fast-paced, top-performing, startup-like environment

Technical qualifications
- Solid understanding or RDBMS systems as well as non-relational
stores

- Understanding of scalability, clustering, cloud technologies,
performance

- Experience in using AJAX to develop high performance rich user
interfaces

- Hands-on experience with libraries like Yahoo! UI Library (YUI) is a
definite plus

- Experience with mobile device programming (iphone, android,
blackberry) a big plus

- Knowledge of cross-browser (Firefox vs. Internet Explorer) issues
such as JavaScript differences

- Development experience with PHP is most desired, however experience
with interactive web application will do as long as you are willing to
learn and program in PHP

- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities, flexibility, and
commitment to deadline

- Experience with Agile development desirable

- 5+ years relevant technical experience, or BS in Computer Science
and MS degree with 1+ years relevant technical experience
