D-HUD - DStar Repeater and Reflector Heads Up Display

Hi Everyone

We have been working on a small side project over here are IU.  We

have named it D-HUD.  It gives all kinds of interesting statistics

about D-Star repeater usage, including per callsign usage, usage per

hour, top talkers, and logs of all of the transmissions that have

occurred.

The idea is that Repeater/Reflector owners will have a better idea of

who is using the system and when, and also provide cool stats like how

many unique callsigns the repeater has heard.  Also D-HUD gives

updates in real time on the status of connected stations/reflectors,

and the last heard list.

D-HUD is not ready to be installed on other systems yet (there are

still some bugs to work out), but we are looking for feedback about

additional features, and bug reports.  At this point D-HUD provides a

view into most of the data, but is missing the stylistic component

which we will be working on adding.  IE support is currently limited,

it is best viewed in FireFox or Chrome.  Hopefully in a few weeks we

can have D-HUD to a point where other sites can start installing and

using, and get some of the bugs worked out.

D-HUD will be Open Source once we get it to a point that it is ready to be installed, so that others can contribute as well.
