Lemonstone is a reading series presented by the Writers Guild at
Bloomington.

Tony Ardizzone is an award-winning novelist and short story writer. He
is the author of seven books of fiction, including In the Garden of
Papa Santuzzu. His latest novel, The Whale Chaser, was released late
last fall.
The recipient of two individual artist fellowships in fiction from the
National Endowment for the Arts, Ardizzone also teaches in the MFA
program at Indiana University. He is the winner of the Flannery
O’Connor Award for Short Fiction, a Pushcart Prize, and many other
honors. His short stories have appeared in such journals as
Ploughshares, Black Warrior Review, Epoch, TriQuarterly, The Georgia
Review, Prairie Schooner, and Sonora Review.
Ardizzone will read from The Whale Chaser. A discussion with the
author will follow the reading. A few copies of his book will be
available for sale and signing by the author.

three events in the fall. This is our last Lemonstone for spring 2011.
