I have heard alot about the benefits of meditation and I am excited to
learn more. If anyone has any tips that are helpful to the beginner, I
will gladly listen. Thank You!

Dear Bella:
Do you live in the Phoenix area?  We have many meditation groups nearby.
Suggest you begin with the practice most comfortable for you.  Zen, Tibetan, etc.
We are in the Zen tradition of  Venerable,Thich Nhat Hahn, Buddhist Monk.  He is the 2nd most studied Buddhist leader after the Dalai Lama.
Our main website is PlumVillage.org in France where the main Monastery is.
We have one in California, Vermont and we go monthy to Calm Village on Baseline and 7th ave in Phoenix.  We meet every Sunday in Sun City and Nov. 11th (Saturday) at Calm Village at 10:00.
Suggest you find a group near you to begin to research which fits your needs.
Peace and please join us for a "sit".
Kathleen
Kind Acceptance of the Heart

Hi Kathleen:

I have read some of Thich Nat Hahn and have heard him on tapes. He is
wonderful. I also have read some of the Dalai Lama and think he is
great also!

If I come for the Sunday mediation and I have to leave after an hour is
that o.k.? We have a baby and her dad works on Sunday so my time is
limited on Sunday and I work on Saturday.

Thank you for you time and reply.

Bella
