In Device Manager, locate your device, press and hold (or right-click) it, select Update driver, select Search automatically for updated driver software, and then follow the rest of the steps.

I couldn't stop the Conexant software from being installed, but in device manager, I could select the device, right-click and choose update driver, look for drivers on my PC, and pick "let me choose" to allow me to select the Microsoft driver rather than Conexant.
My main problem is that I need to sync my devices and iTunes won't detect them without the driver. Windows can detect my devices and they show up in File Explorer. I am also able to get photos and videos that I have taken off the devices and onto my computer with no problems.
Thanks for the upload! I downloaded the media map, unzipped it and restarted my pc (shift start) , etc. , press 7 (no signed drivers etc) and then device manager, update drivers, search manually on my pc, go to the media map (incl. subfolders).
There is some basic driver in the windows 10 iso that I can download from chuwi itself.
I did not install this windows 10 version, I installed the latest september 2019 version from the MS website.
I will never have that problem since, in addition to extracting the drivers of the new device when I receive it, I also make an image of the disk before connecting the computer to the internet, so, if I sold it, I just have to restore that image and everything It will remain as newly received. The program I use for this is Macrium Reflect, which has a free version.
well i have been running a realtek ac 97 on my system with mc 3.0 but i do have a mojo for the audio from avid and if i tried to start avid i two got the error but then i installed a m box and the m box driver loads first and avid is happy and runs great and so does all my windows stuff off the realtek i just use the m box as a dongle nothing hooked up to it but my avid runs great
You've just gotta make sure that the M-Box is set to be your new defauld audio device, not the on-board audio card (or any extra installed audio card). Then you should be able to blast past that Exception.
Where can I find this driver so I can delete it? Somehow (but in the last couple of months) this Audio Device was installed on my MacBook Pro 16 running Catalina 10.15.4. I have spent the entire day trying to remove it as part of troubleshooting another an audio problem. Not only can I not remove it, I can't even find it to remove it. Have also included a screen shot below to show how it appears in System Report and in the Apple MIDI Setup app. The Webex uninstallers don't remove it, i have tried third-party installers like CleanMyMac, and I have googled for tips and and hunted and removed every file in every Library with "Cisco" and "WebEx" on it, and a total super-scrub uninstall and reinstall didn't fix the problem either. Hoping someone can tell me I am missing something simple. Thanks!
JRiver Media Center version 20 for Windows introduced a WDM Driver (a virtual audio driver), which can be used to re-route all windows sound through Media Center. This allows full use of Media Center's DSP stack for web content, and allows better integration with external audio sources, like streaming video services or video games. The driver is currently only available on Windows.
When system audio plays (from web browsers, apps, windows sounds, or video games), it will play to the JRiver Media Center driver. This re-routes the audio through Media Center's DSP stack to whatever output device you have selected as an audio output in Media Center.
Because the WDM driver requires some buffer to function, it necessarily adds some latency to audio. For pure audio applications, this is irrelevant, but for streaming video (or video games), too much latency can cause lipsync issues. If you're experiencing these issues, you can adjust the two buffers listed under Clicks, Pops, and Static above. The total added latency is close to the sum of those two buffers, so you want to try and find the combination of buffer settings that creates the lowest total latency, but doesn't cause audio drop outs as described above.
The recommendation for lipsync in film is about 22ms; the recommendations for television are about 45ms. Most delays below 45ms will not create visible lipsync issues, and higher latency may or may not be noticeable to all viewers. If your combined buffer settings are below this threshold, and you still have noticeable lipsync issues, there may be other factors contributing to your latency other than the WDM Driver, such as that native latency of your audio device or using certain DSP modules (such as Convolution).

While the oats cooked, I used my Windows Surface to check my email. DB, this is when I ran across your email. Yes, Windows PowerShell can help in many different ways in looking at audio drivers.
The first thing to do is to find the audio device. To do this, use the WMI class Win32_SoundDevice WMI class. The Win32_SoundDevice WMI class tells me the device ID and the name of the audio device. The command is shown here.

On initial boot, everything seems to be working fine, audio is playing. After running Windows Update (installing a whole list of updates) and Samsung Update (BIOS update) and restarting, audio stops working. After restart, Samsung Update does show an audio driver update, but installing/updating the audio driver via Samsung Update fails. Manual download and installation of the driver from Samsung Update does nothing either. Windows update says everything is updated, no new updates available.
When I go to Device Manager, a red/yellow triangle is shown by the Intel Smart Sound Technology BUS. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, updating the drivers, as well as disabling and uninstalling and reinstalling the device, all the while restarting in between. In Device Manager Properties for the Intel Smart Sound Technology BUS, under Device Status, it says the following:
I uninstalled every device related to audio, as marked in red in the screenshot below. Whenever prompted to "attempt to remove the driver for this device", I did so. After that, I rebooted the laptop and then used Samsung Update to reinstall the audio driver. This restored audio. Hope it works for you too. Let me know. Good luck

After upgrading system to Windows 10, the plugging-in C-Media USB audio device such as cad u37 microphone cannot work well. In device manager, you can only find it on the other devices with a yellow exclamation. And it reminds you in general tab: the USB audio device driver not installed. So if it does not have a driver installed, you cannot use the microphone.
