This live album was recorded in 2015 at our home church (Eagles Landing FBC). Since our band is heavily involved with student ministries, we thought it was fitting to record this album at one of our Thrive student worship nights. As you listen in, the voices from the crowd are the students from youth ministry. This album features 12 live songs, including four worship tunes we covered.
Tony Cummings, allocating the album a nine out of ten rating from Cross Rhythms, writes, "this live set maintains the group's highest standards and, who knows, may end up being another Platinum-selling project for the most consistent of worship teams."[4] Awarding the album four stars at 365 Days of Inspiring Media, Joshua Andre states, "a stirring and motivational record".[1] Herb Longs, giving the album four stars by The Christian Beat, writes, "Casting Crowns' talent in music, lyrics, and leadership creates an incredible atmosphere of worship for listeners."[3] Rating the album a nine out of ten at Jesus Wired, Rebekah Joy says, "Casting Crowns has created another staple album for Christian music fans."[5]
Running sound for worship services can be tough. You might not have a lot of practical experience. Maybe the entire crew is made up of eager but unschooled volunteers. The sound system itself could be showing signs of age or neglect.
