Chemonics International Inc, a leading international consulting
firm, seeks experienced professionals for the USAID funded Indonesia Clean
Energy Development program. This program will to work with key national and
local governments and the private sector to address the primary barriers to
clean energy development, support Indonesia’s efforts to stimulate economic
growth through increasing access to energy services, and reduce the growth of
GHG emission from the energy sector.

 

Chemonics seeks applicants with
experience and expertise in the following technical sector:

 

·        
GIS
Specialist. To work alongside industry specialists to develop a database
for use by industry and government. It will include roads, streams and rivers,
population centers, electricity and telephone transmission and distribution
lines, industrial activities and natural resources.

 

Qualifications:

 

·        
Indonesian national

·        
Preferred advanced degree relevant to the above
technical area;

·        
At least 5 years experience in a role relevant to
the work listed above;

·        
Familiarity with the Indonesian energy sector is
desirable;

Preferred
experience in Sumatra

·        
Previous experience with USAID contractors and
grantees desired

·        
Proficiency in English and Indonesian languages
preferred
