Client is looking for Integration Testing Manager – Chicago, IL. This is a 6+ months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Local candidates only.

 

We are currently looking to add an Integration Testing Manager to our Financial Services Practice.  This position will be responsible for overseeing integration testing and test management of various projects.  This person will also be responsible for the development of test strategy, approach, test cases, test environments and test issues along with assisting in the coordination of UAT activities as required.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Manage test environments and requirements and develop integration test strategy, schedule and approach

·         Enhance IT test methodology and work with QA testers in developing IT tests including verification tests, functional tests, black box tests, and batch performance tests

·         Work with project teams to resolve defects as well as facilitate defect and project dependency meetings

 

Requirements:

·         5-10 years experience in a business application software testing environment

·         Strong communication and conflict management skills

·         Strong problem solving and organization skills

·         Bachelor degree required - Master degree a plus

·         Financial services industry experience required

·         Experience in the following technologies:

·         Excel, Sharepoint, SQL Server

·         Solid understanding of data structures and content

·         Batch scheduling (Tivoli TWS, Autosys)

·         Financial application experience preferred
