You just have click over to this blog by Jim Edwards about trackback.

I implemented a haloscan trackback pretty much as soon as I started this blog, but never really fully understood how it worked, how important it is and how to actually do it... until now.

Jim has been a mentor of mine for nearly 3 years now (reading his ebook "How to write an ebook in 7days" was the final spur I needed to write Beyond Bedroom Guitar.) He's been regularly publishing a multimedia newsletter called I Gotta Tell Ya, for a while now, which is full of practical advice for internet marketers both new and old hands.

Jim has just switched over to using a blog format at last (phew!!) and this article contains flash streaming videos that he recorded with Thomas Pierce (www.blogmastersecrets.com). Over the course of about 1/2 and hour Thomas explains simply to Jim exactly how trackbacks work.

It's a case of duh, that's so simple, why didn't I start using that stuff earlier.
Anyway this entry should hopefully trackback to the original article :-).

Gosh this guy Thomas really gets it. I wonder when Jim'll start putting in podcast enclosure links for the audio and video stuff so that people can download his stuff using ipodder or the like?

Beware, my own podcast is coming this way shortly. I've already updated my blogger settings to set the link up and if you subscribe to my feed via the feedburner link then ipodder etc.. will be able to find it. I've done a test already on another blog so I know this bit works. More on podcasting later... it's going to be waaayy cooool...
