Just stopping for coffee...

I'm painting and decorating today and to pass the time I pushed in the bonus disk from Stomping the Search Engines into the PC and turned the speakers up. Nic was away presenting her training course Introduction to NLP and left me to do the hard parts of the landing (high ceilings - thank god for hire shops).

Well the more I listen to Brad Fallon's interviews the more I realise just how much time I've been wasting on my other websites in the past. Not going for links, not optimising for search. I used to just keep firing the PPC traffic at it (thank god for Adwords).

Earlier in the week I started doing something about the links. Having played with and failed to get Duncan Carver's Link Management assistant working on my 1and1 account I finally found the solution in his forum. Now I've got a links management and directory for my book website Beyond Bedroom Guitar. Thing is, why do developers insist on thinking that you have multiple mysql databases grr...

Well must go get on with the painting now I've finished my coffee..
