We do believe that it was a coincidence that the update succeeded after giving storage permission as VictronConnect does not need the storage permission to read the firmware that is shipped with VictronConnect. The force stopping and clearing of the bluetooth cache is more likely to have an influence.
However, for some strange reason, I'm able to use SCC (1.1.3.4) to update to the lastest 6.3.1.34 firmware. Let alone use SCC to reboot the switch. I've tried 2 PCs on the same switch, with the firewall disabled too.
and my has a number only. i completely reset it and reinstalled my bridge to the network and it DID NOT try and upgrade the firmware. under health it still ONLY gives me a number. it does not say up to date as all the online instructions suggest. this why i am so confused. any ideas? thank you for the help
Hi @docfish. I would check to make sure that your Ring app is up to date. Try updating your Ring app to see if this causes a change in what your see for the firmware version. If after updating the Ring app, you still see the same thing, it would be best to follow up with our support team. They will be able to look at your specific account details and find a way to remedy this for you.
Hey everyone, so im a bit confused right now. I updated to crealitys latest firmware from their site: (I used the CR-10 Smart - Marlin version) and now my pinter doesn't extrude when I start a print....I can manually extrude using the screen fine, and it does the initial prime line fine, but when it actually starts the print it just says nope, its break time peace out! Any idea what could be causing this? I've been using prusa slicer for the last year and its never had issues, the same gcode works fine on my ender 3 which is weird.
Ring Bridge only connected 8 devices even though I was advised it could connect more. The firmware will not update beyond 12.0000282. Level 1 and Level 2 supoort walked me through rebooting the bridge, change wifi networks, removing all connected pathway lights and resetting the bridge. Device will not pulldown new firmware. I plan on connecting 8 pathway lights, so I need the firmware addressed. thanks

I have 63 TP-Link KP125 smartplugs at my home, to do things like switch things off to conserve power, measure consumption for appliances, as well as for HomeAssistant to send me notifications when appliances are done (clothes, dishes, food, etc).
I clicked the update button again, to try to upgrade the remaining 8 smartplugs. The error persisted, however. These 8 smartplugs were all online and controllable from Kasa during the time this happened, as well as measuring energy, with data successfully recorded in HomeAssistant. I have smokeping data that shows me they were all pingable from a wired host, too.
I repeated the process. None would upgrade, still. Finally, I unplugged these 8 from their respective outlets. One was for the dishwasher, one for the toaster oven, another for my upstairs ceiling audio system, another for my MIDI organ, another for my office audio system, another one for the freezer in the garage. I didn't write down the name for each one, but I recall these. In any case, after I plugged all these smartplugs back into their outlets, the Kasa app was upgraded to upgrade them too. They are now all on 1.0.8 .
I am considering adding some hardwired Kasa devices (namely, one HS200 switch). If there is ever a problem with the firmware upgrade on it, I would not be able to unplug it. The only way to cut power to the switch would be to turn off electricity to the house.
Perhaps doing a factory reset would allow the firmware upgrade to the device to proceed, but I didn't try that with the KP125 when I saw the issue. It would have meant having to reconfigure the device in my applications (HomeAssistant) and lose previously recorded power consumption over time for these devices.
Every once in a while, your smart TV or smart monitor will receive software updates to add new features or fix bugs. No matter what model you have, keeping your software up to date is very important. You can update your TV or monitor's software over the internet or using a USB flash drive. Remember that after a software update your video and audio settings might automatically be reset to defaults.
To download the latest software updates, visit the Samsung Download Center. You can either select your Product type and then search for your Smart TV or monitor, or select Search your model number to access the support page for your specific model. On the Support page, locate the firmware file for your device under Downloads. If you find multiple firmware versions, install the newest version. Select Download next to the firmware version to download the compressed file.
I am having same issue with a smart plug. I have tried turning off plug with the app and back on with the app.. no issues. I tried to manually do update but the update keeps failing. The plug is about ten feet from the router and there are no walls. I am using the 2.4 band internet. Any suggestions as to why the update would not be working?
after rebooting again I went straight to account and tried firmware update and it worked. move light closer to router on some of them. unfortunately. After Buffalo blizzard and lack of internet. 2 units bricked up and will not be recognized in wifi finder. ROKU should make a manual entry of mac in app to help. So 2 of 4 back are dead in the water and questioning reliability if these.
I have removed my device and reinstalled it.
On the third attempt the status situation along with being able to control the device is fully functional. Power use is not. Still can not update the firmware.
The latest firmware will be required for Zwift v 1.14.0. When 1.14 is released, you may see this message on the device pairing screen:
Sterzo Forced Firmware Update Dialog 2021-06-01-Zwift1282752 136 KB
I downloaded the UPGRADO app on my iPhone. However, every time I attempted to register to use it, the app crashed! I ended up registering on the Elite website, and then was able to login on the app and successfully update the Sterzo Smart firmware.
I've gotten repeated failures updating Tacx Neo Smart Bike firmware from 0.40 to 0.41. Previously with the Utility App, now with the Training App. It progresses about 15% or so, then it says it's rebooting and progresses no further. Tacx support keeps telling me to disconnect, unplug for an hour or more, and try again. But I've done this a dozen times already, and the update still fails. Could it be the bike? Should I ask for a warranty return or replacement?
What kind of mobile phone do You have? Try to disable and re-enable the BT in the phone. The another solution could be a different (and reliable ) mobile with good BT , older Samsungs are perfect, S7, S8 , with not the newest Android (the latest Androids could be always problem for firmware update). the Iphones are not recommended neither .
I have a new Tacx Neo Smart Bike with firmware 0.39. I tried as suggested to upgrade the firmware to 0.41 with the Tacx Training app with Huawei Android Smartphone. Unfortunately it did not work. I tried with Samsung Galaxy Tab S5. Did not work. Then I tried very Old Samsung J4. Did also not work. Does anybody have an idea waht else could help to upgrade?

I also have a RepRapDiscount FULL GRAPHIC Smart Controller and I would like to use that instead. I downloaded the Prusa firmware from the github and changed the configuration.h file to use the full graphics controller and changed the screen size to 128 & 64. I successfully built the firmware.info.hex file and flashed it to the printer but the screen is still black. I can't access the printer in any way. I can connect to it through the octoprint but none of the controls work.
