I have trouble installing this related posts widget with my slightly
modified and custom blogger template.

Any help would be very appreciated on where I should place the html
code as I can't find the footer tag with this template

I think you can put <div id="related_posts"></div> at between 1067 and
1068.

It seems to work, and you can check it out at http://kimme.blogspot.com/

The language is Norwegian, but it has an easy to use translation
widget on the site so any post can be translated to many other
languages.
