Logon.cfm/index.cfm issue

My last post seems to have disappeared...sorry if this ends up being a double post.

I am having troubles logging on to my instance of Blogcfc.  No matter which page I browse to, I get redirected to index.cfm with the logon page title and username and password form fields.  

It doesn't matter what I type into those fields (or even if I leave them blank), the application redirects to the same page, with the same form fields.  No errors, no messages.

The blog application has been running well (except a repeated error when a spider tries to crawl the /blog/client/rss.cfm file, it sends an error:"An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x13) was found in the element content of the document." ...I only include that info in case it is related and gives a clue)

BlogCfc is pretty deep and broad...I admit to being a bit lost as I peruse the code...anyone have any pointers?
