editing blog home page

I am realtively new to CF

I have the blog software loaded and running

I want to add photos to the home page as well as links to several others - what file do I edit?

I built an about PAGE but there is no way to access it to change it

Well, it depends. If you want to change the layout, there is a layout.cfm file. If you want to modify how the home page looks, you would need to modify index.cfm.
