You could try going to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and try uninstalling Red Alert 3. Then do a fresh install from your RA3 DVD, install the 1.12 patch and you should be all set to play again.

Have you installed the game five times on different computers? From what I see, you are not authorized to play it for some reason. I'd report the issue directly to EA (if the disc is legal, of course).

Not sure if this is related to the options.cfg issue, but the alert volume level slider isn't working for me (alert volume stays the same regardless of % setting) in-game or after re-starting. Also, the alert settings state is not being saved after re-starting the game. I'm using Danger Alerts 1.4.0 with MM 2.8.0 on KSP 1.3.0.1804 Win x64.

Well it's what I would expect from Apollo era technology. Personally what comes to mind is that sound and not the Flash Gordon alarm... even if it is what they actually used.

I can add that - the auto-renamer can be turned off in the difficulty settings. It's late and I'm about to go to bed, but I'll pick it up tomorrow if I get time (or the weekend at the latest).

Just to clarify (I'm assuming yes, but let's be thorough), do you want to be able to set the default name of the auto-alarms as well as manual ones? Raised #1

EDIT: I've just realised what you meant. I'm not sure I can mess with the default names for manual alarms but I will have a dig and see what I can do. I can definitely let you choose your own name for the auto renamer though

It's probably the garbage collector, I'm doing some not very well optimised things in terms of allocations and Lists right now, because "get it working" comes before "make it fast". There's definitely some optimisation to do, if it's causing issues I'll try and clean it up a little for the next release.

There's definitely some potential for excess GC allocation in the SOI calcs, thank you for raising it - I'll try and clean it up a little for the next release. I'll probably give you the option of increasing the timestep too, which should help. Raised #2

@Apricot (and anyone else who might be having performance issues). Can you please try this build: !AtG2PODa0fmwi7g1Ey-jLgLKA0MkGA?e=gwb4F8 and see if it helps. (I've zipped it so your AV doesn't freak out, just replace the DLL in the AlarmEnhancements folder with this one).

I can certainly look at it! I've never used that feature so what does it do? I'm assuming it's an alarm for when an experiment has finished processing? (I never use the labs so excuse me if I ask stupid questions)

It's an alarm based on when a Science Lab where data is processed is full. This depends on the science rate (wich depends on the Kerbal lvl), and the amount of data (which obviously decreases over time).
So you no longer miss the time to send the science.

If you're taking suggestions: would integration with Transfer Window Planner be in scope for this mod? The stock transfer planner is great but I prefer the configurability that TWP provides, so it'd be nice to be able to add a transfer window from that mod directly into a stock alarm, similar to how it's already done in KAC.

That change would probably have to be done within TWP. It's all rather academic at the moment anyway as I understand TWP doesn't work in 1.12, but as I understand it TWP adds the alarm to KAC, so it would be up to TWP to update itself to add to the Stock Alarm Clock instead.

Hi!
The mail function does not send alerts for new internal notes.
if we transfer the tickets, or create a new ticket, the function mail works well, but I need to receive a notification by mail to the agents of the department to which the ticket is assigned when internal notes are published.
I enable New Internal Note Alert in settings but dont work!!

If you would review the Internal Activity Notice recipients you will see that only the Last Responding Agent, the Assigned Agent/Team, or the Deparment Manager will be the only people who could get the notice. If you aren't getting a notice then you probably don't have an Assigned Agent/Team, Department manager, or you aren't the last responding agent.

Good afternoon @KevinTheJedi , everything you comment is activated, the internal activity notice, the assignment to an agent and a team and to the department manager. Could it be that you have configured something else and that you have not commented on it?
It is the only alert that does not send mail.
Thanks for the help

The caveats are that you have to have an Assigned Agent/Team to the ticket OR Last Responding Agent OR have a Department Manager set. If you still don't get the alert then it's because you yourself posted the Internal Note and the system won't send the alert to yourself (because you posted the note obviously).

How to fix this kind of dependabot alerts where we cannot update library ex underscore which is required by another library react-bootstrap-table-next and we cannot update react-bootstrap-table-next as react-bootstrap-table-next is already latest which we cannot update.

For example in above case underscore is required by react-bootstrap-table-next so we can go ahead and check if react-bootstrap-table-next has already fixed the alert and update underscore package if they have update we can install latest react-bootstrap-table-next if not updated we can either wait for the next release of choose other alternative package

I'm having the same issue along with other projects. It appears that they have not yet decided on updating their dependencies at this time. It is known that there's a vulnerability issue with their current 1.9.1 version. We need version 12 or better. Until then we just have to hold our breaths.

The unofficial 1.12.6 patch for Red Alert 3 has been released. It includes 29 new bugfixes, including the fix for one banned exploit, raising the total bugfix count to 64. Many prior graphical additions were reverted and new, more practical changes have been made. The patch comes in the form of skirmish/multiplayer map packs which can not be properly transferred online (so each player must download them from the original source individually), which will become ranked on the C&C:Online server. Note that only the English version is supported at this time. For more information and the download link, click here.

Hi, I recently received a notification "we detected that you are making API calls to the AWS Health service with an outdated Java SDK version (less than v1.12.468), which might result in failures". I am using Java 1.8 and don't want to upgrade it in the short time. How can I resolve this issue?

Hi Didier Durand, i am using Old version of jenkins which is hosted on AWS only. I am not using sdk in my application code anywhere. In the AWS Health Dashboard i am receiving the above notification but in the Affected Resource it's showing my AWS Account ID.So i am not completely sure which resource is causing this notification.Could you please help or guide me with identifying the resource , Thanks :)

Do you have some of your own code using Java triggered by Jenkins calling AWS Health ? Or do you use some Jenkins plugin to make those calls? If it is a plugin, you may have to update the plugin (and maybe Jenkins). If it is your own code, you will have to upgrade its dependencies to switch to AWS Java SDK v2 (see link that I posted)

AWS Health team will periodically perform fail-over tests and we would like to ensure you are not impacted by this. We undertake such fail-overs on a recurring basis to ensure that our services are highly available.

In 2023, the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) continued to clamp down on the sale and supply of illegal health products at targeted hotspots and online. Targeted operations, intel-sharing and joint enforcement efforts with local and overseas agencies led to the seizure of over 1.12 million units of illegal health products and the removal of over 12,000 listings of illegal health products from local e-commerce and social media platforms. These products were unregistered, counterfeit, or had potent medicinal ingredients and/or banned substances illegally added.

2 Compared to 2022, the number of illegal health products seized by HSA increased by more than 50%. The types of products seized remained similar, with sexual enhancement or male vitality products and addictive medicines such as codeine cough syrup and sedatives, continuing to be the most common categories [Figure 2.1].

3 The 50% increase in products seized was due to heightened surveillance and enforcement in hotspot areas, including a major operation in June alongside the Singapore Police Force (SPF) to clamp down on a suspected illegal codeine syndicate[1]. This operation was the biggest involving illegal codeine syndicates since 2019. Approximately 190 litres of codeine cough syrup (equivalent to about 2,100 90ml prescription-sized bottles typically dispensed at clinics) and an assortment of pills were seized, making this one of the largest seizures in the past 5 years.
