The universal intro is complete, ready out-of-the-box implementation of intro with apre-defined page structure that all products can rely on (as API). It is a completeimplementation, including presentation, but without content, and can be used byany product.

Prior to 3.2, the intro framework provided for defining welcome pages withunique contribution points or 'anchors'. Other components could provide extensionsthat add content into these anchors. Although this mechanism worked well for closedsolutions, it is increasingly hard to maintain for large products. Due to the'bottom-up' nature of contributions from clients into the welcome pages, it is hardto control the final result and resolve conflicting contributions.

The universal intro is based on experience with intro implementations and theneed to have an implementation in place that contributors can count on. Theimplementation is built using the existing intro framework, and for this reason, all existing intro implementation will continue to work and clients will be ableto switch to the new model according to their schedules. Of course, as long asthey don't switch, they will not reap the benefits of the new implementationsuch as intelligent content merging, new visual solution etc.

Hello everyone. Non-US television question. Trying to find which movie had this creepy intro. It may be a random clip however, not related to any movie in particular. I saw it on TV around 1999-2001 when i was a kid. There was a late night show that featured two female hosts that were talking about movies for a brief time before actual movie started. I remember seeing a Universal studios logo starting as usual, but then a creepy clown (kinda like "It") emerged from behind the Earth and started either tearing it apart or eating it while laughing. That stuff scared me shitless and i started crying. I was watching this with my mom and she started switching channels so that i would stop crying, but after a while she turned that channel back and this clown was still going lmao. Since i was a small child i thought that i might have dreamed this up or something, but i asked my mother if she remembers this and she said yes. I've tried to google this, thinking if it's a "universal intro" it would be easy to find, but to no avail. Maybe i'm missing something.

It is a remake of the famous intro of the Universal Studios and I published it first on youtube, where there are many who use these free intro-templates. So I made a template myself and as there is quite a lot of people watching these videos mine got watched a lot too wich gave me around 40.000 views:eyebrowlift:.

In order to hook into to the universal intro, developers should have a product-based eclipse application. This requires the use of theorg.eclipse.runtime.products extension point (the assumption isthat the product has already been defined):

For this example, assume that the extension is defined in the plugin.xml file in the com.example.intro plug-in. Along-standing feature of the eclipse intro support is the ability to hookproducts and intros using the product-intro binding:

Universal intro customization is split between product branding properties and preferences. Product branding properties are set by the product and cannot be modified. They include product title, branding image and branding image text:

The universal intro supports replacing file-basedproperties such as introBrandingImage with a theme-specificalternative. For example, a product may contribute a introBrandingImageas "product:gizmo.png", but this image does not match thethe com.acme.theme theme. A more suitable image can be placedin the product bundle in com.acme.theme/gizmo.png. When a replacement image is not found, the resolver will fall backto the general image gizmo.png image found at the rootof the product bundle.

Second half of universal intro variables are accessible as preferences. The split is due to the fact that these variables can be configured by users and are exposed in the new Welcome preference page. The initial values for these preferences should be placed in the 'plugin_customization.ini' file that is referenced from the product extension. These preferences are:

Windows 10 introduced the Universal Windows Platform (UWP), which provides a common app platform on every device that runs Windows. The UWP core APIs are the same on all Windows devices. If your app only uses the core APIs, it will run on any Windows device no matter whether you are targeting a desktop PC, Xbox, Mixed-reality headset, and so on.

The Microsoft design system is named Fluent. The Fluent Design System is a set of UWP features combined with best practices for creating apps that perform beautifully on all types of Windows-powered devices. Fluent experiences adapt and feel natural on devices from tablets to laptops, from PCs to televisions, and on virtual reality devices. See The Fluent Design System for UWP apps for an introduction to Fluent Design.

Good design is the process of deciding how users will interact with your app, in addition to how it will look and function. User experience plays a huge part in determining how happy people will be with your app, so don't skimp on this step. Design basics introduces you to designing a Universal Windows app. See the device primer to help you think through the interaction experience of using your app on all the different form factors you want to target.

Nexus Universal, a universal adhesive resin cement, allows you to cut your procedure steps by up to 50% while delivering up to 2x higher bond strength on any substrate (data on file). Nexus Universal offers a flexible workflow, accommodating your preferred cementation technique, while providing confidence in a strong bond. It also pairs well with leading universal bonding agents includingOptiBond Universal, part of theOptiBond family of productswidely recognized as the gold standard in adhesion.

3M™ Scotchbond™ Universal Plus Adhesive is the first radiopaque universal adhesive, minimising the risk of X-ray misdiagnosis and invasive overtreatment. It provides gold standard adhesion to all dental substrates, including glass ceramic, without the need for a separate primer, silane or activator. It supports minimally invasive dentistry by bonding and sealing caries affected dentine The formulation is free of BPA derivatives like BisGMA. And there is virtually no post-operative sensitivity.* Together with 3M™ RelyX™ Universal Resin Cement it forms a fully aligned system, offering excellent bond strength for virtually all dual-cure resin cement indications.* *3M Internal data

This course will introduce the key concepts of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and give you the knowledge you need to start using UDL in your lesson and assessment design both in the classroom and online. Each module will include a variety of materials to increase options for representation and increase engagement throughout the course. You will dive into the why, the what, and the how of UDL and learn how UDL creates more accessible and equitable learning environments.

PANAVIA V5 is the 5th version of cement in the PANAVIA family. It is a true dual-cure, fluoride-releasing, color-stable, esthetic universal cement with simplified placement. PANAVIA V5 also provides an adhesive milestone by providing self-cure dentin bond strengths equal to CLEARFIL SE BOND. No resin cement has been able to provide this level of adhesion until now.

The universal Welcome solution is based on our experience with Welcome implementations and the need to have an implementation in place that contributors can count on. The implementation is built using the current Welcome framework which has been minimally enhanced to better support it. For this reason, all existing Welcome implementation will continue to work and clients will be able to switch to the new model according to their schedules. Of course, as long as they don't switch, they will not reap the benefits of the new implementation such as intelligent content merging, new visual solution etc.

In order to hook to the universal Welcome, developers should have a product-based Eclipse application. This requires the use of the org.eclipse.runtime.products extension point (the assumption is that the product has already been defined):

For this example, assume that the extension is define in plugin.xml file sitting in the bundle with the bundle id of com.example.intro. A long-existing feature of the Eclipse intro support is the ability to hook products and intros using the product-intro binding:

When launching the universal Welcome configured as shown above, you will notice that all of the second level page that branch off the root page have an empty content area. This is because shared Welcome does not have content of its own. These areas are populated using intro config extensions.

The traditional way of contributing config extensions is to specify a full path of the anchor element in the target page. This method is still supported but it has proven to be somewhat fragile. As mentioned before, specifying an exact place where the extension will end up in the target is premature for extension authors. They may not know all the products in which their extension will end up, and therefore don't know where they should appear according to each product's focus. In the universal Welcome, this decision is left to product authors. Extension authors now have the option of specifying an incomplete target path, allowing the product author to fill in the blanks.
