We've had a rainy day all day which are the ones I like best for reading. Give me a bag of Cheetos and a real Coke, a couple of good books, and I am set for life. Nothing is urgent or pressing.
If you notice the Just Finished section below, I read a bit while on vacation. While Handsome was hiking, I finished Meg Cabot's and started Linda Castillo's. I stayed up all night to finish that thriller. Then I started Harvest the next day and finished it on the plane. I turned to Handsome and went "Wow!" And being the best husband he is, he asked for a run down on the book. I'd like to keep reading; however, I do have my own to write.
REMINDER to tune in September 16-18 when New York Times best seller, Lorraine Heath, will answer your questions and mine about writing and her new book, Just Wicked Enough. You know, you have to love a book with "wicked" in the title.
And FYI, a great way to celebrate a birthday is have a junk food day - mine included Oreos, peanut - plain is best mixed with peanut - M&Ms, and Doritos. All the food groups! What's your favorite indulgence? VB
