Tonight we are looking at installing Virtualmin, so if you're looking at remotely managing an ubuntu server it is not to be missed.

Hello Jacques.

I hope to be there.  On standby duties for the work, so hopefully there will be no problems of any kind at work this week. 

Will you please also explain to me the differences between Webmin and Virtualmin, the advantages and disadvantages, and why should you choose Virtualmin above Webmin?  Where does Usermin fit in between Webmin and Virtualmin?  Google is my friend, but I still struggle to get an answer that puts everything in crystal clear clarity for me. Just as I think I have it, another answer swings me to the other choice.

Virtualmin, is a module of Webmin and Usermin is a module that can be added to the Virtualmin/Webmin installation (I’m not 100% sure if it isn’t already bundled in with the software)

Along with the Webmin and Usermin functionality, Virtualmin contains the functionality to maintain and provide web services. i.e. web hosting, virtual domain management.

We can cover this some more tonight, which package you choose really depends on what you’re going to use the remote server for.
