The following card numbers can be used for testing regular card transactions in the BlueSnap Sandbox environment. The table indicates what the expected result is for each test card, such as a successful charge or a specific error. To test AVS and CVV response codes, click here.

I'm doing updates to apps on my iPad and it's saying that it needs to update my payment info and it won't accept my security code. It worked before and I made recent purchases. I put in the credit card info fresh and I still get the same error. I wonder if this is related to my iCloud's corruption issues. Thanks for any help!

Forum Tip: Since you're new here, you've probably not discovered the Search feature available on every Communities page, but next time, it might save you time (and everyone else from having to answer the same question multiple times) if you search a couple of ways for a topic, both in the relevant forums and in the Apple Knowledge Base, before you post a question.

For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and therefore the country which is on your iTunes account).

It says I had a problem with a previous purchase and I must update my credit card info. But when I put it all in then it doesn't take it. Can you help? I tried to do the steps you provided but no solution

Awww that's too bad. That's like saying I have to have a certain credit score to purchase apps. It also makes me pay interest if I'm not careful. That interest could be used to buy more apps. I hope Apple changes their policy.

"Invalid security code" error means your card issuer isn't authorizing iTunes to use the card. The error is actually a general error and doesn't necessarily mean you're typing in the wrong CVV. It can be caused by a security hold on your card that may only be affecting iTunes purchases, insufficient funds, actually typing in the wrong CVV, or other issues but only your bank can tell you why this is happening. When you get a prompt saying there is a billing issue with a previous purchase, it means that your bank or credit card company didn't authorize iTunes to receive payment for something purchased with your account. When you try to update payment info, iTunes is asking permission to receive payment from your card issuer, and they're not authorizing that.

A debit card security code (CSC) is a three or four-digit number that appears on your debit card. It may also be referred to as a debit card CVV or CVC, which indicates card verification value and card verification code, respectively.

The security code can be found on the front or back of a debit card depending on which bank or credit union you use. With Chase debit cards, the three-digit code appears on the back of the card to the right side of the white signature strip.

There is a CVV encoded on the magnetic strip on the debit card so it is not necessary to key it in for in-person purchases. However, when making online purchases or purchases over the phone, the CVV is to be provided. This is an additional layer of security to help prevent debit card fraud.

Most often you can find a debit card security code on the back of your debit card. Not to be confused with a debit card number or a PIN, a debit card security code serves a unique function of helping to protect your account when making online and phone-based purchases. Hello. I recently switched to tmobile and went through hoops to get my virtual rebate card, and yet the card still does not work. I talked with customer service and ended up ordering a physical card a couple days ago after the "access funds" link didn't work after thats what they had told me to do.

I have yet to receive the card, but now there is a large purchase on it for instacart in California and I live in Minnesota. I reported the incident to Northlane with a screenshot included, but I have to say that this whole process has been an INCREDIBLE hassle to receive the funds I was promised when switching. Y'all need to use a different company because when I googled this issue, I see time and time again that people are unable to use their rebate cards and there is clearly some fraud going on through Northlane, since someone can clearly use the card I'm unable to use.

So I try to add the card to my Apple wallet. Works great up until the last step, then terminates with Apple saying to contact the card company. I try this multiple times over a two day period and it never works. Obstacle 5.

I have the same issues as all of you. Got 2 virtual promotion/rebate cards and none of them are working. Called t mobile, they have no ideas about the cards and directed me to the store that I got the phones. Sadly, I went to the store and online, both cards were denied. This is so frustrated, t mobile must send actual card instead of virtual that does not work. The person at t mobile even helped me loaded the card to samsung pay and still not working.

first, make sure you go to -mobile.com/ instead of north lanes bs website, and after you go into the promotions at the bottom you will see your active ones, there you can redeem your virtual card without logging in through north lane,

I was told in the store it was like any other pre-paid card and that we could use it wherever. Come to find out, the sales rep was lying. When I call T-Mobile, it is essentially a T-Mobile gift card that only works at T-Mobile stores or to pay the bill.

Your debit card PIN is typically a four-digit number that lets you access your account. A debit card security code (CSC) is distinct from your PIN. Sometimes called the card verification value or card verification code (CVV or CVC, respectively), it's a three or four-digit number printed somewhere on your debit card. The CSC serves as an extra security verification when making transactions online or over the phone.

Yes, there are ways to change your debit card PIN. Thankfully, changing a debit card PIN is typically not too complicated. If it becomes necessary to reset your PIN, it can usually be done in a few steps. Most banks offer several ways of doing so, though procedures will vary.

Bank tellers can usually help you reset your debit card PIN. Knowing your current PIN will likely make your experience more straightforward, but isn't always needed if you can provide identification, like a government-issued photo ID.
