Hi, Could you just give me a "DUMMIES guide" on how to install Google Blockly please? I know JS and Python (But talk to me as if I'm a idiot). If you could give me some rough instructions on how to install it please? I'm trying to make a educational package for my school and could really do with some help. Thanks :)

Could you take a look at this page: https://code.google.com/p/blockly/wiki/Installation
and let us know what we need to fill in?

Thanks.

Ellen

Alternatively, if by 'install' you mean download a copy for offline use, rather than integrate it with an existing application, then try this:

Hi, Thanks Ellen. Basically I am trying to build a editor that I will create projects for students that fit into the curriculum, Similar to what Kano have done but open source and for my school. I have previously read the content on that page and found that I couldn't find a simple explanation on how to create new projects/apps and integrate Blockly. I'm not sure if I am coming across a little vague. I'm guessing there is not a simple guide to do this and was wondering if you could direct me on what I need todo first to create these projects and integrate Blockly.

Thanks for you're help so far,
Luke

Thanks Neil, Yes and no... I am trying to make some projects for Blockly for my school which revolves around the syllabus and to teach them Python. Have you any idea on how to create these projects and integrate them?

Thanks for you're help so far,
Luke

Thanks for clarifying what you want to do.  I think you basically need to look at the source code for the most similar existing demo app (probably Graph or Plane, in your case) and copy and modify it.

I am working on tools that will make it much easier to create blocks, which should be available in a few weeks.
