Hello all,

I would dearly love to provide a friend with a means of grasping a really simple app written in Swift4, from a tutorial we've been working on.

I wonder if Blockly has the capacity to allow me to build out a visual representation of the app.

I am still very new to Blockly, and Swift as well, so I'm willing to accept that we may just need to slog through the abstractions first, but it certainly would be a fun way to try to learn both Blockly and Swift.

The most complicated bits of the app are:
  • two IBOutlet images,
  • an IBAction button and
  • the use of arc4Random

I am happy to provide the code in its entirety, but didn't want to be obnoxious and post more than I needed to. :)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Blockly doesn't build apps by itself, but App Inventor (editor) and the related Thunkable do allow you to make phone apps using Blockly. Thunkable recently added iOS app support, so I would start there. You won't be writing in Swift, but it may give you the foundation of an prototype app without needing to.
