Hi Everyone
Some problems keep coming up (I know - I've come across them myself :) ) so I have been working on a tutorial for a research group.

I have attached it here - please let me know if it's useful - I don't know if I will have time to update it - but I will try and fit any suggestions in.

Please also do give feedback (please be nice - it's free...)

  Best wishes
    Andy Stratton

P.S.  If you know of any publishers who might be interested in a finished version...

Hello Andy Stratton,

This looks neat and I believe it answers almost all the basic queries regarding Blockly Development. However, I will be interested if there’s an interactive version. You might want to look at Gitbook < http://gitbookio.gitbooks.io/javascript/ >.

Additionally, contributing to a gitbook publication is easy since, it provides a very good integration with Github.

Let me know if you need any help in this regard.

Again, thanks for building such a great resource :)

Cheers!
Adwait

Not sure I get the idea. Existing documentation maybe not perfectly structured but has complete information. Creation of a version for specific purpose may be reasonable but please show to readers your goal first. It's important for authors and readers to know whom such documentation addressed to and how it would be used.

Thank you for your effort.

Hi Mikhail
This was prompted by another user requesting help.  I use the documentation - which is great - but another view (as long as it's correct :) ) surely can only help.  Sometimes it's nice to have a simple sequential tutorial that can be read offline...I guess that's the structural difference - I do find it hard sometimes to find the right thing in the documentation - or then to understand what it means without an example.

Yes the (draft) tutorial could do with an explanation - thank you and I will update it it say what it is for and what it assumes you have already done.

Thank you for your effort.

  Cheers
    Andy

Hi Andy,

good luck! Once I shared my view on documentation:

not sure it would be interesting to you, but anyway

Mike
