Increasing the size of the text input field

How do I increase the size of the text input field? The size should be changed similar to how an html input tag has a size parameter that changes the size.

Hi Aneesh,

We don't have such an option yet, but it is a good idea.  I've suggested a few starter points in the feature request issue, but there may be some less than trivial interactions with the block size and rendering. But maybe there wouldn't be, since we already handle the growth of the block as the user types the text.
