How to install Blockly on Windows?

I'm a little confused... it seems like the purpose of Blockly is to have a simple way to create javascript code.

But when you try to figure out how to actually install Blockly, it quickly becomes a confusing nightmare.

I downloaded the zip file, ran the fixed demo but looks nothing like the demo on the Blockly website.

Am I missing something?

Blockly's purpose is a bit different hehe. Blockly isn't an end-user product. Blockly is a library that enables software developers to embed block-based programming editors into *their* end-user products.

If you want to program with blocks, I recommend looking into products that use Blockly, like Code Your Future, Code.org, Scratch, App Inventor, MakeCode, etc. (Code Your Future is linked because they teach JavaScript).
