Blockly to Roblox?

I noticed that Blockly can be exported to Lua. Years ago when I helped my son with Roblox, the language was Lua. Does this mean that a child could program with Blockly and then export to Lua to have a script that is usable in Roblox?

Pepe and Karen,

Someone would have to do the work to build blocks for Roblox. It shouldn't be too hard since many of the language semantics are already in the Lua generator. 

You could create the blocks using the Block Factory and then write the code to generate the Roblox Lua.

Karen, 

I now that has been a while, but i managed to define some blocks to use with roblox. Right now i can do simple things like add parts, change baseplate color and transparency, and set the time of the day. Once one assemble the code, i managed to make a button to download the script, so the child could paste it on roblox and run it, right now i´m working on some new blocks and a better way to integrate with roblox than just pasting the code on it.

Just letting you know, it might be a functional tool for teaching programing for kids with Lua and roblox in a few weeks...

Did you make this available on github or would you be willing to so all of us can help contribute. I also think this would be a great tool and would be happy to help, it sounds like you got a good start going.
