Hi Block Builders,

As part of our move to the Raspberry Pi Foundation, we're moving the GitHub repositories, including blockly, blockly-samples, and blockly-keyboard-experimentation, to the Raspberry Pi Foundation organization.

This transfer should be complete by end-of-day Friday 11/7/25, but in the meantime you may find things moving around as we complete the transfer process. GitHub should properly redirect google/blockly and other repositories to their new homes.

However, GitHub will not automatically redirect our GitHub pages sites. We'll get those redeployed ASAP and update the links within our documentation.

If you use Blockly through the npm packages we publish, rest assured those are not changing and will continue to work throughout this transition.

You shouldn't need to take any action at this time, this is just a heads up.

You can let us know on the forum if you have any questions or concerns.

Best,
Maribeth

The migration of blockly, blockly-samples, and blockly-keyboard-experimentation is complete. GitHub will redirect most links automatically, but will not redirect the old GitHub Pages URLs, so you may need to update your bookmarks. Here are the new Plugins page and the hosted Blockly playground.

Also please note that due to the transition timeline, support on the Blockly forum may be slower than usual from now through December 1. We appreciate your patience.

Best,
Maribeth
